June is Pride Month, and we are celebrating by highlighting some of our favorite LGBTQ+ owned foodie spots in Orlando. Diversity and inclusion are an essential part of this city&#;s thriving group. Simply put, Orlando wouldn&#;t be the same without its many minority-owned miniature businesses and restaurants.

1. Se7en Bites

Trina Gregory-Propst is the owner of Se7en Bites, a bakery and eatery located right in the heart of Orlando’s Milk District. This restaurant features a unique menu of southern comfort food, breakfast and brunch favorites, coffee and homemade sweet treats.

In Orlando, we strive to be an inclusive community &#x; interpretation we accept all people for who they are. Our LGBTQ+ community has made great strides, and I am a satisfied ally who believes it is important to movie and support LGBTQ+ owned businesses to show they are loved and cherished. Local restaurants featured in Call on Orlando campaign for LGBTQ+ businesses

Local restaurant Hungry Pants at S. Orange Ave. was recently recognized in a Visit Orlando campaign for LGBTQ+ businesses in Central Florida.

Owners Alex Marin and Joey Conicella first opened the “plant-curious” restaurant in after running the Yum Yum Cupcake Truck. While the menu focuses on plant-based foods, multiple protein choices are available at Greedy Pants, including meat.

One of Check in Orlando’s marketing initiatives is to join with key diversity audience segments, including the LGBTQ+ collective. Part of the initiative in June was to underline Orlando’s unique dining scene during Event Month.

Visit Orlando created an Instagram guide to Queer owned restaurants throughout Orlando, including Island Time, Se7en Bites, Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria, Hamburger Mary’s, Bites & Bubbles, Quantum Leap Winery, The Hammered Lamb and Empty Pants.

Visit Orlando helped pioneer Diverse tourism with the original Gay Days in Orlando was even named the first “City of the Year” by .
