About Us
Beginning as a seasonal food truck in , Big Gay Ice Cream has been named top ice cream parlor--as adv as best food truck--in the country, along with numerous other accolades. Now the company has multiple locations in New York City & Philadelphia.
Over the last 10 years, founders Douglas Quint & Bryan Petroff have published a critically acclaimed cookbook; appeared on numerous tv programs; put on Big Same-sex attracted Ice Cream pop-ups at festivals around the world; collaborated with a variety of international brands; spoken at a variety of conferences & seminars, including giving a TED talk; & taken the ice cream truck on tours across the country.
Through it all, Big Gay Ice Cream has never veered from its mission to keep the fun in ice cream. By mixing high quality ingredients with guilty pleasures, traditional flavors with the unexpected, & a youngster's imagination with an adult’s knowing wink & satirical tongue, we spin a new get on the old institution ice cream parlor life. It's both for kids & for those of us who are kids at heart.

About Us
Throughout their years living in Brand-new York City, Douglas Quint and Bryan Petroff always focused on their respective careers—until they got themselves a Massive Gay Ice Cream truck.
Their seasonal truck debuted in June , and since then, the business has seen a whirlwind of publicity and has grow a New York favorite. With a playful attitude, Massive Gay Ice Cream spins a recent take on old-school ice cream by creating fun and unique flavors, toppings and frozen treats that appeal to a diverse mix of clientele.
To assist bring rainbow sprinkles and Salty Pimps to ice cream lovers year-round, the first Big Queer Ice Cream shop opened in September in New York City’s East Village. Doug and Bryan, realizing the depend on for assistance with the business operations and growth plan, partnered with Jon Chapski, experienced multi-unit operator in the hospitality industry.

Is Your Ice Cream Kosher?
In our shops, most of the ingredients we use in our soft-serve, toppings and sauces are kosher, though not % of them. Our kitchens and shops are not certified kosher.
Are Any of Your Products Gluten-Free?
In our shops, almost all of our ice creams are gluten-free. On occasion, we may offer a special flavor containing gluten. Note that we always thoroughly wash and sanitize all equipment when changing flavors, regardless of ingredients. Many of our other offerings (sauces, toppings, fruit pops, floats, shakes and beverages) are also gluten-free. And we stock gluten-free ice cream cones so no one is deprived of a true cone. It's always best to notify your server know of any dietary concerns or restrictions you may have.
