There isn't really a consistent male lover beach scene in Playa del Carmen anymore but the sandy stretch of Playa Mamitas a bit north of Mamitas Beach Club is a popular display out zone as is the beach club itself. Another option is to head about 3km north past Paridus Hotel to an abandoned stretch of beach between big condo/hotel complexes. However there are very few people and the main reason people go here is to lay out naked or go into the bushes and try their luck. Be careful of security guards. The final option is the beach about 5 min walk south of the ferry pier to Cozumel in front of the private Playacar progress. There's a more local crowd here, also mixed.

As referred above, there are many reasons for a same-sex attracted traveler to love Playa del Carmen. The town is home to a colorful gay life with various gay cruising spots and nightlife entertainment venues, a super cheerful LGBT collective, pristine-white sand beaches and a variety of great events what else do you want?

Gay Playa Del Carmen keeps us coming back for more, we’ve visited multiple times and possess simply fallen in love with this beautiful, gay amiable coastal town. When it comes to gay destinations in Mexico, it is one of our favorite.
On first impressions, we were very impressed. Stunning beaches, the crystal-clear rain you would await from the Caribbean, an abundance of restaurants, and what looked to be plenty of nightlife options stretching along the main avenue of 5th Street. We loved it straight away, and knew we were going to include a great time.
But what about gay Playa del Carmen? With so much on offer for your general holidaymakers, did Playa del Carmen have anything to offer Diverse travellers in Mexico?
Whilst researching ‘gay Playa del Carmen’ it seemed that there wasn’t really anything LGBTQ+ specific available….
However, we quickly realised that the reason for this was that Playa del Carmen is such a gay kind and welcoming place to all tourists, and as a result, everything from bars to beaches is integrated.

Homosexuality in Playa Del Carmen is almost fully accepted and is considered as a superior destination for LGBT travellers. A rapidly developed capital with luxury residential could not but be in the center of attention for its vibrant nightlife and the memorable beach parties.
An idyllic destination located in the heart of Riviera Maya packed with entertainment venues and tourist activities for every courteous of crowd. The locals of Playa Del Carmen are usually really amiable and open minded so don't be shy and express yourself as much as you want.
