Mardi Gras Parade

In , the Mardi Gras Parade returns to Oxford Street, Flinders Street and Anzac Parade, centred around the theme 'Our Future'. As always, the pride will be led by the beloved Dykes on Bikes, First Nations and 78er floats.

The parade is the biggest event of the festival, featuring more than 12, marchers and over floats captivating spectators with a spectacular display of colour, creativity and identity festival. There are free viewing areas all along Oxford Street, as well as premium viewing spaces and accessible viewing ticketed areas to view the spectacle from Hyde Park to Moore Park.

Heaps Gay Parties

Heaps Gay has been coaxing Sydney out of its shell with larger-than-life parties since Whether you're gay, straight, or somewhere in between, you'll have a heaps nice time at one of Sydney's favourite inclusive lgbtq+ events.

From person warehouse parties to 3,person street festivals, the collective has been going strong, platforming the best queer performers, DJs, musicians and artists from Australia and around the world – think Dyan Tai, Dorian Electra, Cakes Da Killa, and Bimini Bon Boulash. 

In the words of founder, Kat Dopper: “The good thing about Heaps Gay is that it sort of feels like a house party, you never really understand what you’re gonna acquire in terms of sound, but the music is always accessible.”
