The event that changed my life happened in August

My wife Diane was pregnant and at place in Ireland in our small apartment near Dublin, while I was in the UK recording an album.

We’d been married since and were desperate to have children. It all started with a handset call from a friend in Ireland called Joe Duigman, a doctor who lived about yards away from us, telling me Diane was unwell.
