I wasnt aware of that until recently. If the reading common is ready to accept fan fiction packaged in mass market paperbacks sold at the grocery store, thats all good. I just hope no one is pretending its anything but that.
I appreciate the value and significance of most forms of consensual sex and even love reading books with a petty spice, so I cant fault readers for their curiosity. I read a few pages, however, and like someone said in the video clip, it is pretty "wordy." Sometimes less is more.
The book might own appealed more to me had Christian Grey been a vampire (not the sparkling kind, though).

I understand the fifty shades of grey series is a trilogy and not just 50 pages (your post said you only got through that much). What note is it sending in those first 50 pages?
Do you know if its the same communication by the end of the last book?
As I said in my disclaimer, I couldnt stomach more than the first 50 pages of the publication. However, I know a lot of "vanilla" girls who read it and subsequently gushed about it FOR WEEKS, and a boatload of people in the BDSM community that wantedit to be a good representation of their sub(*snort*)culture because of the attention it was getting and thusly decided to read it as good. Based on these two completely opposing opinions giving me the same communication (though one loved and one loathed), I consider I made the right decision in putting it down.

So, dear readers, I wish I am not alone here in saying that I have never study Fifty Shades of Grey. So, when I saw Fifty Shades of Homosexual by Jeffrey Self on the review list I paused, wondering if this might not be either a) a parody of the original m/f publication or b) a homosexual version of the similar. Needless to say, I was intrigued and scooped it up from Wave as soon as I could. While I now know the answer to the aforementioned puzzler, I also know this: I laughed myself silly over this book, gasped aloud at the naughty scenes and silently cheered at the end.
