On manuscript, it seems like a promising destination for Diverse travelers. But after spending a weekend exploring its shops, restaurants and nightlife, I walked away with mixed feelings. While I found signs of aid and some friendly faces, there was also a quiet undercurrent of organism watched or judged &#; something many queer travelers know all too skillfully.
